A 2–3 day PADI Advanced Open Water certification course in Havelock covering 5 adventure dives including mandatory deep and navigation dives, extending your certified depth to 30 metres.
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course is designed to improve your diving skills and expand your depth capabilities. Unlike Open Water, this course is dive-focused with minimal classroom theory. You complete five adventure dives that expose you to different diving environments and skill sets. Two dives are mandatory: the Deep Dive (up to 30 metres) and the Underwater Navigation Dive. The remaining three dives are selected based on conditions and instructor discretion. Havelock Island's reef systems and varied dive sites provide ideal conditions for skill progression. Upon completion, you are certified to dive up to 30 metres (subject to age restrictions). This is a progression course — not a beginner programme.
Course orientation, documentation, knowledge review, followed by the two mandatory adventure dives — Deep Dive up to 30 metres and Underwater Navigation Dive.
Complete three elective adventure dives selected based on conditions and instructor discretion. Surface debrief, feedback, and PADI certification processing.
